- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one wager, paying out only if all selections win.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to a team, eliminating the draw as a possible outcome.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting activities.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you create a custom bet by combining different markets from the same match.
- Bet Slip
- The record or ticket that lists your selected bets and the potential payout before confirmation.
- Bookmaker
- The company or platform that sets odds and accepts bets from customers.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle your bet early, either locking in a profit or minimizing a loss before the event ends.
- Cashback
- A promotion that refunds a portion of your stake or losses, usually under specific conditions.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet on a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- Each-Way
- A two-part bet where you back a selection to win and also to place, with separate payouts for each part.
- Edge
- Your perceived advantage over the bookmaker’s odds, often based on analysis or information.
- Free Bet
- A bet credit you can use without risking your own money, with winnings usually returned minus the free bet stake.
- Implied Probability
- The chance of an outcome calculated from the odds, showing what the bookmaker believes will happen.
- In-Play
- Bets placed while a match is ongoing, with odds that update in real time.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker includes in the odds, also called vigorish or vig.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built-in advantage that ensures profit regardless of the outcome, expressed as a percentage.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
- Another term for an accumulator, where multiple selections must all win for the bet to pay out.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools designed to help you gamble safely and avoid harmful behavior.
- Self-Exclusion
- A facility that lets you block yourself from betting on the platform for a set period.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
